Profile
Richard "Rich" Landy is executive vice president of human resources for Energy Future Holdings Corp., a Dallas-based energy company with a portfolio of competitive and regulated subsidiaries, including TXU Energy, Luminant and Oncor. Landy oversees the human resources function across the corporation. He began this role in January 2010.

Before joining EFH, Landy spent several years in the energy sector, most recently as senior vice president of human resources operations of Exelon Corporation, one of the nation's largest electric companies. He also previously served as vice president of human resources for Entergy Operations Inc., a nuclear management company, and was promoted to senior vice president of human resources and chief administrative officer of the parent company, Entergy. Landy was later promoted to president and CEO of Entergy Solutions Inc., a nonregulated energy management subsidiary. In 1999, he joined ComEd as part of the nuclear turnaround team and played a role in the PECO-ComEd merger, which became Exelon, the largest operator of nuclear power plants in the U.S.

From 1967 to 1969, Landy served as a sergeant for the 4th Cavalry in the U.S. Army. He was discharged from active duty in 1969.

Civic Involvement
Landy has served as chairman and on the board of the Spanish Coalition for Jobs in Chicago.

Education
Landy received his bachelor's degree and a master's degree in business administration from Iona College in New Rochelle, N.Y.

Family
Landy and his family reside in Dallas.
