United Way

Employees within the EFH portfolio of competitive and regulated energy companies made a big difference in the lives of other Texans by donating generously to the 2010 United Way and TXU Energy Aid^SM campaign. Employee contributions raised more than $1.9 million during the campaign.

TXU Energy Community Partners

TXU Energy donates over a million dollars each year to its community partners, charitable organizations such as United Way, Sheltering Arms, Meals on Wheels, American Red Cross and many others.

Oncor Texas Trails^SM Program

In 2011, Oncor announced it will begin to transform pathways under parts of the company's transmission rights-of-way into hike and bike trails as part of the new Oncor Texas Trails^SM program. These trails will help create pathways that will be integral parts of the communities Oncor serves. The Oncor Texas Trails program is also a key part of Oncor's commitment to supporting health and fitness initiatives, such as the Mayor's Youth Fitness Initiative that Oncor currently sponsors with the City of Dallas.

Luminant Gives Back

Luminant's charitable contributions help the company give back to the communities where its employees live, work and serve. Employees also commit countless hours to helping others through the Luminant Good Neighbor volunteer program and many separate initiatives in communities across northern Texas.
